JSA of LIS Member Program COVID‐19 Update 3

To JSA member program leaders,

I want to alert you about two live sessions scheduled today and tomorrow by US Sailing:

Today, May 6 at 2pm, John Pearce, US Sailing Youth Director, will host a live panel presentation about"Ideas for Adapting Junior Sailing Programs."  Junior sailing program directors from around the country will share tips and ideas for adapting to the evolving challenges of COVID-19 pandemic, and discuss your questions in the Q&A: Kim Hapgood, Program Director Sail Newport; Jessica Haverstock, Director Lake Minnetonka Sailing School; Chris Wright, Junior Program Director Mission Bay Yacht Club; Will Levy, Youth Sailor / Instructor. Tomorrow, May 7 at 5:30pm, will be the "US Sailing Leadership Forum Live Online Session," an informative evening of knowledge sharing, local observations, and expert advice on how to adapt and evolve your organizations’ best practices as we move forward within the boundaries of COVID-19. Featured Topics: Process for Return to Sailing, Medical Considerations, Youth Sailing, and Race Management. View the agenda. 

Each of these sessions will be archived for future viewing on the Starboard Portal if you are unable to attend during the scheduled time period.
