The 23' Sonar one-design keelboat is a high-performance racer and also a comfortable daysailor just right for getting the entire family or friends on the water together. It was designed by Bruce Kirby and almost 700 boats have been built since 1980. The Sonar has recently achieved status as an International Class.

Dear Junior Sailing Families,
The State of New York has given the approval to open summer sports programs if appropriate physical distancing and health precautions are taken. Therefore, we are excited to go ahead with the program and would like to share all that we will do to keep the sailors safe and healthy. Please be available for a Zoom meeting on Monday, June 22nd at 7:00 pm in regards to the HYC Junior Sailing 2020 program.
A meeting invite will be sent in a separate email.
