Reciprocal Clubs
Apr 28, 2020 -- Posted by :Not all clubs in our area offer a Junior Sailing Program for children between the ages of 8 to 16 or do so only for their members. Because of the rich boating tradition of many families living within proximity of Long Island Sound, Junior Sailing is often a sought-after activity, which is why at Huguenot Yacht Club, we believe that this tradition is important enough to offer a limited number of spaces to the children of members of our fellow area clubs so that we don't miss out on further involvement in our sport. Parents at local clubs find it convenient to drop off and pick up their children without interfering with their recreational activities. If you believe that your members would be interested in such an opportunity, please direct them to the Registration page.

HYC Jr Sailing Committee appreciates all the hard work and perseverance of the sailors, parents, and coaches through the Summer of 2023; This Summer we hope to "accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative, latch on to the affirmative, spread joy up to the maximum, and bring gloom down to the minimum." -- same as last year ????
The first Open House for registration will be Sunday, January 28th, 2024, from 1 pm to 4 pm. There will be discounts for all who register by Monday.
The second Open House for registration will be Sunday, March 3th, 2024, from 1 pm to 4 pm. There will be somewhat smaller discounts for all who register by Monday..
